Hi to all, and a good Memorial Day !

Perhaps a 300C owner would be interested in the following item. I don't
even know who the seller is, e-mail address not familiar. Just passing it
on.

John

I am in the process of redoing the inside of a 300J. Headliner, sunvisors,

floormat and seats. Before I joined this list a number of places were
called
and it seemed that a 300J was some foreign item to these people. I am
assuming that some of you have done extensive research on these items. I
would appreciate any help available. Thanks Walter

List,
I have the opportunity to buy a non-letter 300 convertible- 1964, and
wanted to know if anyone out there can tell me if the convert roof frame
parts will interchange with my 61 convert parts. It's supposed to be a
'parts car' with 383 2bbl drive train.
I only have 61/62 Chryslers, so I'd be looking for a home for the rest of
the parts. I really only want the convert top frame, pump, etc. (if they
fit).
If not, I'll pass along the info on the car once I see it. It's in New
Hampshire, so I'm sure it's pretty rusty, but if anyone is interested let
me know.

Horseless Carriage and Passport Transport should be able to arrange indoor

transport.

Avoid DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) like the plague.

   Hi all,
On the subject of rebuilding harmonic balancers, I have got to tell
you being off a couple of degrees on timing is not your primary concern.
I have had the rings come loose on two occasions, both were 392 engines,
luckily I wasn't to far from home either time.
   Regards,
   George Cann

And it makes a HUGE racket when you are driving and that happens.

I stoped at a repair place nad had to have it removed before
I got home from a trip once because of just this.

Once you get your "new" damper, I suggest you mark the front
of it with a mark (I used a white paint line) on the hub AND
the ring part. That way you can see when it starts to slip.

Gary and Gang

I bought a product that is called "BACK TO BLACK". I bought at a swap meet

and I am sure it is part of the Mothers product line.
I will be at my shop tomorrow and will check. If I don't post that is the
brand.
