Wow! I'm impressed! There are 10 suites available at the motel (Best
Western Brownsboro Inn) but that's all. So ....... if you are planning on
coming and don't have a room yet, we have an alternative for you:
Breckinridge Inn has rooms available on September 21, 22 and 23. You will
need to talk with Kay Huber. The phone number is: 502-456-5050. They
will
honor our deal with Best Western.
Also, remember that Best Western will accommodate our loving care of our
brutes! They have towels and hoses available to wash and dry your beauty
so
don't take them from the room! Ask and ye shall receive!!!!!
See you soon .........
300ly,
Bob and Elizabeth Wieland

I thought id test out the new server with a post for someone on the list:
Does anyone have for sale any "Football" air cleaners (he said they are
called that) Any condition considered. They are the 2 small oval'ish
shaped gold air cleaners.
If you got em for sale, let me know, and Ill pass it along.
Thanks,
Brian

Subject: steering gear lash adjustement ('57 Coaxial pw. st.)
Hi,
I need some advises about the adjustement of my '57 Coaxial power
steering (maybe '56 are the same). I've some play when the engine
is running (and twice more with engine off but i think it's
normal). With engine on, i've approx. 5 to 10° play at steering
wheel.
Ther's an adjusting screw (w. lock nut) on top of steering case.
This screw adjusts the "gear lash" as said in the FSM. But the
FSM describes adjustement with steering removed (but connected to
pump and engine running..). I don't want to remove steering link
from pitman arm so does someone knows how to adjust ?
Note that the steering works perfectly except this little play. I
don't want to jam the steering (as a friend did with my old
steering unit..).
Thanks
