Hi Charlie and All:
No "duh" necessary! I/P is instrument panel. Sorry for the shortcut
terminology.

"DUH" !!!! Thanks guys. I thought it must have been simple. Too simple. I
just could not make the connection. Probably because my brain is fried from
remodeling my bathroom all last week, even New Years Eve and Day, and its
still not finished.
Happy New Year and Happy 300ing

Hi all:
I ran across a new product yesterday that will make cleaning our 300's much
easier. For sometime I have been thinking of how to make a device for on the
end of a water hose to soften water as I rinse the car so I wouldn't have to
get the water off quickly in order not to leave spots. Well, Mr. Clean Autodry
carwash appears to have beaten me to it.
This product will appear on shelves either this month or next. At
www.mrclean.com, you can read about this product and request your 2 free $5 discount
coupons. Just enter your location and click on the bottom of the following
window to access the site. How simple washing the Brutes will be now. The product
is small so you can take it to meets and give your car a fresh wash before
the show.
I have no ponies in this race, just passing on some good info.

Well, at the 2003 SEMA show, they were hyping the stuff like it was the
elixir of life itself. I don't know if it is or not, but fellow member
Tom Miller has the complete kit. I wouldn't count on hearing a review
from him anytime soon as it is currently snowing at a steady rate.
Have a nice day,

I ran a softwater connection to my outside regular hose bib
location(connected both bibs to the same hose via a T) so that when I wash
my auto's I can give them a final rinse with softwater.
Does an excellent job so that if I am in a hurry I can just drive off
without drying the auto and for the most part water spotting is at a
minimum.
Also works great for rinsing my home windows(long hose will help) after
washing them. Not quite as perfect as drying with a squeegee but sure a lot
less labor. One rain anyway will ruin a perfect job.
