Location: Los Angeles, California | Not quite sure if the engine in my car is original, been repainted, or just had a new intake put on. Its a B series 361, but with a 4bbl intake and single exhaust. Not sure of the core body color but the heads were painted red at some point maybe? Any input or numbers?
1960 Desoto Fireflite
Could have had a
361 2bbl
Optional 383 4bbl

Location: northern germany | It is a 1960 361. If your cars build date is about 15 to 45 days later, it's very likely OE. |

I would have said the engine was probably silver but I just found this source that says otherwise:
1960 361 Golden Commando High Perf Red/Gold Red block with Gold Valve Covers P4349218 / P4529149
REFERENCE: https://www.turbinecar.com/misc/enginecolor.htm
It might be wrong.
